Notice Regarding Acquisition of Carepro, Inc.’s Home Nursing Business

It is with great pleasure to announce that on December 1, 2022, CHCP Home Nursing, Inc., an investment vehicle wholly owned by funds managed and/or advised by Unison Capital, Inc. (Unison Capital Partners V, LPS, Unison Capital Partners V(J), L.P. and UC Healthcare Provider Co-Investment, LPS; collectively, “Unison”) has completed the acquisition of Carepro, Inc.’s subsidiary (the “Target”) operating home nursing services (the “Acquisition”).

Under the corporate philosophy of improving quality of life through providing quality home nursing services, the Target operates home nursing stations catering to various needs including general nursing care, pediatric nursing care, disability support, etc.

Unison and Community Healthcare Coordination Platform, Inc. (“CHCP”) will take a hands-on approach to further evolve the Target’s healthcare services catering to the local medical community.

Following the Acquisition, the number of home nursing stations nationwide under CHCP group’s ownership will expand to 220. Unison and CHCP will continue to actively support home nursing services which play a crucial role within Japan’s integrated regional care system.
