We are pleased to announce that on March 2, 2026, Unison Capital Partners VI, LPS has completed the acquisition of Krispy Kreme Doughnut Japan Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) from Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation (“KKDC”) pursuant to the share purchase agreement entered into on December 19, 2025.

The Company serves as the exclusive master franchisee of the “Krispy Kreme” brand in Japan. “Krispy Kreme” is a globally renowned brand with a history exceeding 80 years represented in more than 40 countries worldwide. The brand launched its first store in Shinjuku, Tokyo in 2006 and will mark its 20th anniversary in Japan in 2026. The brand currently operates shops and fresh delivery points of access within retailers across Tokyo, Osaka, and other major cities nationwide.

Unison aims to serve as a trusted partner to KKDC in operating and expanding the brand’s footprint across Japan.
